Moto Guzzi's brilliant 1979 Le Mans MKII special. Offered in excellent condition and boasting a fully detailed paper history. Built and tuned by Hobb Sport Racing. Dyno Sheet reads 96bhp. Esholt Sprint winner!! The engine has been extensively worked on with 1046cc big bore barrels, pistons, ported big valve heads, Dr. John's Valve Springs, alloy gear drive cam conversion, Fast Race cam, modified valve gear, lighter balanced crankshaft, Carrillo con-rods, high capacity oil pump, extended sump, big bore connected front pipes and 40mm Dellorto carbs, with Goodridge crossover fuel lines and breather pipes. , The transmission boasts a Transcontinental clutch kit, lighter flywheel, and a 3-Dog gearbox conversion. , Other modifications/upgrades include, gold Astralite wheels, Ducati discs, callipers and Brembo Gold Line master cylinder and Goodridge hoses on the front. On the rear you have a modified brake setup with a lighter Brembo Calliper and Goodridge hoses. The front suspension setup includes Marzocchi forks and Ducati 900 SS yokes. A fully adjustable steering damper, fully adjustable Ohlins rear suspension. Tommaselli throttle assembly.
