The four-cylinder engine delivers peak power of 208 hp at 13,450 rpm, with 115.5 Nm of torque, making it one of the most powerful naturally aspirated four-cylinder engines in production and the most powerful naked sports bike in the world. A double injector system - one near the throttle body and the other above the intake duct - provides extremely precise injected fuel management in order to optimise performance and minimise emissions at any rpm. The exhaust is custom engineered, with a 4-1-4 layout and contains an electronic exhaust valve, to comply with regulations and also improve engine torque. In collaboration with Eldor, MV Agusta has developed a new ECU dedicated to the Brutale 1000 Serie Oro, managed by a full multimap Ride-by-Wire system and regulated by an IMU inertial platform. The inertial platform manages both the traction control (which can be adjusted to 8 levels or deactivated) and the anti-wheelie system, which can be switched off when not required. Completing the electronics package are the Launch Control and EAS 2.0 Up&Down electronic gearbox systems. Chassis dimensions are designed to combine the handling of a naked sports bike with the stability of a supersports bike. The single-sided swingarm gives a compact wheelbase of 1,432mm, and the electronically adjustable Öhlins forks have been redesigned and engineered from scratch. The Öhlins TTX36 shock absorber and the steering damper are also managed by a dedicated electronic ECU. Spoilers located by the radiator improve the load on the front wheel at high speed, improving stability and acceleration. The state-of-the-art braking system features Brembo Stylema callipers and 320 mm diameter floating discs, controlled by Bosch 9.1 ABS - the most compact and lightweight on the market. The Brutale 1000 Serie Oro comes with tyre pressure sensors and Gold Racing chain as standard. Carbon fibre, with stylish anodised red copper wire in the weave, is used for the wheel rims and bodywork, helping keep weight to a minimum. A lithium battery also helps keep kerb weight to just 184 kg. The unmistakable Brutale design benefits from a host of high tech, including a full LED headlight, with cornering lights, controlled by the inertial platform. All of the vital engine and electronics functions are displayed on the 5-inch colour TFT dashboard with 800 x 480 pixel resolution and a smartphone can be connected via Bluetooth toto manage incoming calls, texts and music. Only 300 of the Brutale 1000 Serie Oro will be produced, making it even more special.
